Who are you guys?

Lead by filmmaker Lochlan Tangas, Tango Films is a close-knit, boutique team of videographers and editors who all share the same passion, style and philosophy.  We aim to inspire and capture and, in doing so, become part of your story. We don’t have clients; we make friends, and we’d love to get together over a brew to discuss your big day.

What equipment do you use?

We capture using pro Sony’s, with a variety of fancy interchangeable lenses. Our mics record vows and speeches with great clarity. And we’ve got some killer stabilisers, lights and other accessories to enhance production quality. We love toys!

Where are you based?

In St Kilda and Mornington Peninsula. The majority of our weddings take place in Melbourne, but we love to travel and think outside the box. We won’t bump up our prices for destination weddings, we just ask for 2 night’s accommodation and travel costs to be covered.

How many shooters come to the wedding?

We normally film as a duo to capture all the awesomeness, although some smaller weddings we can shoot solo.

Are you kidding? We have to meet! How else can we connect to your story?
Let’s lock in a face-to-face at your favourite café or bar and if we’re doing this long-distance, we’re all for screen dates too!

So how do we make a booking? Do you require a deposit?

Booking well in advance is important because we tend to get snapped up quick. We take a minimum 30% deposit.

Who picks the music?

We subscribe to various royalty-free music libraries and generally choose for you.

How long till I get my video?

Once we have filmed your event, we start editing immediately. Allow up to a couple of months.
