Some people say love is all about timing. If you happen to be born too early or too late, you might miss the chance to ever meet your soulmate (poem unintentional). They’re off living another life; the one that was meant to be shared with you. Or say you’re running to the train station and realise you have to go back home to grab your phone? Your soulmate might already be on the train, never to be seen again. Even a random decision in life could be enough to screw up the Grand Plan that was laid out for you.
Thankfully for Kate and Nathan, time was on their team. So much so, that it locked them in early, just to make sure everything went just right. They met almost 12 years ago, fell for each other and grew up together, side by side. They’re obviously still going pretty strong today. In the words of Nathan, “time flies when you’re young and in love.”
This is exactly what we gathered to celebrate on a drizzly day on the Mornington Peninsula. It didn’t matter if it was raining. In fact, it only added to the emotion. Surrounded by family and friends, a few umbrellas and lots of champagne, we all helped kick off the next chapter of Kate and Nathan’s already long love story. Here’s to lots more chapters.
